1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By submitting a design entry to the Fan Helmet Design Competition (the “Competition”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not participate in the Competition.

The Competition is organised and operated by EO31 SARL (“the Promoter”), on behalf of Esteban Ocon.

2. ELIGIBILITY

• The Competition is open to individuals worldwide.
• Participants must be at least 12 years of age to enter independently.
• Entrants under the age of 12 must have a parent or legal guardian submit the entry on their behalf and accept these Terms in full.
• Only one (1) entry per individual is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

3. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• To enter, participants must submit an original helmet design via the designated submission method (as specified in the Competition announcement).
• All entries must be submitted no later than 31 August 2025 at 23:59 CET. Late submissions will not be considered.
• The design must be the entrant’s own original work and must not contain any third-party logos, trademarks, copyrighted material, or other proprietary content except the official branding/logos provided in the supplied template.
• Any entries that fail to comply with these requirements may be disqualified at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• By submitting an entry, each participant (and, if under the age of 12, their parent or legal guardian) warrants that:
  • The design is their original creation.
  • They hold full rights to the design and it does not infringe upon any third-party rights.
• By entering, each participant (and their parent/guardian, where applicable) hereby grants to EO31 SARL and Esteban Ocon a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, and otherwise exploit the design in any media, whether now known or hereafter developed, for purposes related to the Competition, helmet production, promotional activities, and public display.
• The Promoter reserves the right to make alterations or adjustments to the winning design, including to meet FIA or F1 safety or visual regulations.

5. SELECTION PROCESS

• The winning entry will be selected by Esteban Ocon, in his sole discretion, based on criteria including originality, creativity, and visual appeal.
• The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The winner will be announced on Esteban Ocon’s official social media channels (@estebanocon) at a later date to be determined.

6. PRIZE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

• The selected design will be featured on Esteban Ocon’s official racing helmet during the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix, subject to any required adjustments.
• The design may also be featured across various media and promotional platforms, with credit attributed to the creator.
• No financial compensation, prize, or remuneration will be provided. This Competition is intended solely as a fan engagement opportunity.

7. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

• The Promoter will collect and process personal information (such as name, email address, and social media handle) solely for the purposes of administering the Competition.
• For entrants under the age of 12, the contact details of a parent or legal guardian must be provided.
• Personal data will not be shared with third parties or used for unrelated purposes.
• By submitting an entry, participants (or their guardians) consent to the Promoter using their data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

8. PARENTAL CONSENT

• Entrants under the age of 12 may only participate with the consent and submission of a parent or legal guardian.
• By submitting on behalf of a minor, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they:
  • Have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  • Consent to the minor’s participation.
  • Grant the Promoter the rights set out in these Terms.
• The Promoter reserves the right to request written verification of parental or guardian consent.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, EO31 SARL, Esteban Ocon, and any associated parties shall not be liable for:
  • Any loss, damage, or delay in entries or communications, whether due to technical issues or otherwise.
  • Any loss arising from the cancellation, postponement, or modification of the Competition.
• The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition or these Terms at any time without prior notice, where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
