Double DNF in Zandvoort for Haas

TGR Haas F1 Team suffered a double retirement from Round 12 of the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, the Dutch Grand Prix, held at Circuit Zandvoort.

Esteban Ocon started from 15th place on Pirelli P Zero Yellow medium tires, and gained two positions, before the race was red-flagged due to a high-speed accident for Max Verstappen at the final corner. Following an interruption of 30 minutes the race resumed, with a second standing start, and on used Red soft tires Esteban started from 13th position, before picking up a spot to run 12th following a penalty for Arvid Lindblad.

Esteban pitted for White hard tires on lap 16, and came in for his second stop on lap 38 - for another set of the hard compound, re-joining in the mid-pack. Esteban unfortunately came to a halt on lap 55 with a power unit issue, pulling his VF-26 to the side of the track, ending his 100 percent finishing record in 2026.

TGR Haas F1 Team occupies seventh position in the Constructors’ Championship on 21 points.

Up front, World Champion Lando Norris claimed his second victory in a row for McLaren, ahead of Mercedes drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell.

Esteban Ocon: “We haven’t had any reliability issues this year, this is the first one, and we think it’s related to the PU, but we’ll need to look into it first to properly understand. Both cars had issues, so neither of us finished the race, but it wasn’t going to change the world as we weren’t in point scoring positions anyway. The updates are coming, they’re needed, so we’ll see what the impact is.”
