TGR Haas F1 Team finished with Esteban Ocon eighth and Ollie Bearman ninth at Round 15 of the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, held Saturday at Baku City Circuit.
Esteban started from 13th on the grid on Pirelli P Zero Red soft tires and maintained position through the first stint, before being passed by the recovering Kimi Antonelli. Esteban pitted on lap 30 for Yellow medium tires, during a safety car phase caused by Alex Albon’s crash, and resumed in 13th place, before moving up to eighth as a melee unfolded ahead at the restart. Another safety car period followed, after which Esteban slotted into seventh when Oscar Piastri ran wide. Esteban defended seventh resolutely but was just pipped to the line in a photo finish by Arvid Lindblad – the Frenchman earning four points for eighth at the checkered.
The result marked the first double points finish of the 2026 season for TGR Haas F1 Team.
TGR Haas F1 Team occupies seventh overall in the Constructors’ Championship, now on 27 points.
Up front Mercedes driver George Russell claimed victory, ahead of Red Bull Racing drivers Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar.
